Workshop Inquiries

Are there workshops for beginners?

Yes, most of our workshops are beginner friendly. No prior experience required.

What is the youngest and oldest age that can join the workshops and classes?

For Hand Building workshops:
Children under the age of 5 require parental assistance but we have had students at age of 4 join us in our workshops before. There is also no limit to how old a student can join.

For Wheel throwing workshops:
We suggest ages 13 and above can try wheel throwing, we just want to make sure they are tall enough to reach the pedals and are strong enough to operate the pottery wheel. If the student is younger than 13 please let us know so we can select the appropriate instructor and ask them if they would like to start wheel throwing.

Can I add another person to my appointment?

Yes you may, it is an option you can select upon signing up for the booking of appointments. Please forward all guidelines and necessary details to your companions if you are booking for multiple people under one appointment.

Do you accept walk-in appointments?

Walk-ins are subject to availability of slots so we highly recommend you book your slots in advance to guarantee your spot.

Can I take pictures and videos during the workshop?

Yes you can. We highly encourage it and we would love to see them as well. Please tag us @PotterySessions if you do post and share them online.
